Main reason I got a raise was a company screw up. Last fall they did across the board raises to everyone, I pointed out my 20 yr anniversary was coming up. At 10 yrs, they gave me $1,000 cash. Asked about getting $2,000, boss said we'll see. Well, they forgot about it, I kind of let it slide. In March I brought it up, she said she'd get back to me. I put out a few feelers, week later she said they weren't giving me $2,000 but instead would give me $1.00/hr raise, which happened first of July. There might be another one, but freight is slowing down, so I'm not holding my breath. They are now starting to make the rounds of my coworkers with reviews as well. As strange as it sounds, I'd really like to see some of my coworkers get raises so they'll shut up about money, and maybe they'll stick around.
Anyone seeing pay raises from their company?

We gave the drivers a choice and let them vote...a straight 7% increase, or a 3% increase with the company picking up most of the cost for dependent's health insurance.
The costs to the company were close to the same but the benefits to the drivers in having good insurance for the family without high costs was obvious. They voted for the second choice.
We also have a longevity bonus and we increased that a little this year. -
I wish my company would give better health insurance for dependants... The insurance is really good with a $0.00 deductible... But it costs me $1086.00 a month for family.BoostedTeg and Jazz1 Thank this.

Not to reflect the stark increase in freight rates.

we are under contract with our customer, as such each year for the period of the contract, we get our "normal" pay raise. not much to do with the ELD's or not.

My company has lost some contracts and is cutting pay and hours, they explained things to me and said I could stick it out working part time or takes a severance package, my last day is today.
-
Why?
There is no connection between the freight rates rising and the ELD.Cattleman84 and REO6205 Thank this. -

I have seen pay go up a lot over the last few years but nothing to do with ELD's , that I know of.
