Wii failing to meet its potential

Mario Kart. It's a blast.

The girls really love Wii Fit as well. The dancing of course, but also jogging, hoola-hooping etc.

It's true there are way too many games trying to simply take advantage of the novel platform, hoping the fun is in swinging the remote, etc.

My 7 yo son still much prefers the PS3.

 

There's quite a lot of good first party games and a few third party games on the Wii.

The Legend of Zelda
The Mario franchise
Guitar Hero

and some underrated gems like Zack and Wiki and Okami(which was originally on the PS2)

But look at the majority of games for the Wii and DS. They're all casual and "instructional" games. There's a veritable flood of utterly stupid games with hidden nuggets floating here and there.

 

I found using the wii fishing game to be expensive.. Putting the wii on the end of your pole and casting it out makes no sense to me, but since my buddy told me that's how it's done I gotta believe it! And to this date, I've yet to catch a fish!

 

This just cracks me up!

 

wii games aren't marketed or made for the metacritic crowd.

 

I enjoy it boxing,bowling tennis,skiing stepping it actually good exercise ya kinda faked into it before ya know it you've done 30min of cardio lol!
