Tomorrow is the last day of my swift training and I do not believe I will be going to orientation. I have gotten better about driving on the road but not that much better at the skills portion (types of backing) I have been unable to pick it up in time. We were given five days of on the road training and six days of backing. I was only shown one maneuver because I had trouble with the straight line backing. I need more experience in operating these vehicles. I'm getting better but not quick enough. I am in California and I am willing to relocate for a solid program that gives us more than a week to get the driving and skills parts down. I prefer one where we do one or the other during the day not both at the same time. I have been told to try Roadmasters but I am unsure of where to go. Any help is appreciated.

Look at tech colleges out there. Are you going to have to pay swift back for the training you did get?
-
You probably still have to go with another driver or a swift trainer still

Swift is using TDA and they are saying aw don't pay unless we get our CDL.

That is not a big problem, trust me. Have you talk to swift to see if they can provide other options. Also I read someone suggested you try a technical school in your area which is a great idea. If you do make sure you ask if you can apply for any grants to help with cost. Don't worry everything will be fine if you stay focused and continue to ask questions.
