This whole drug testing business has gotten seriously grotesque. I cannot wait for the anti coffee, anti anything else that is worth doing in the morning. -
Why can't I just go to the same doctor that gave me a DOT physical.

I am a private carrier so MC number not needed.
I have:
FMCSA compliance check list.
Fleet maintenance policy.
Vehicle preventative maintenance/inspection
Maintenance tracking forms
Annual vehicle inspection certification
Vehicle maintenance file
Brake inspectors certification
Accident register
Commercial motor vehicle credentials
Annual vehicle inspection report & sticker
My UCR
IFTA
I can get a copy of my driving record on my own.
Application for employment .....
What else is needed other than a drug and alcohol consortium.
There is only one driver at this time as well.
I can keep up with my own paperwork.Last edited: Aug 10, 2018

I have spoken to a few of these third party greasey used car salesman types that just want your money. This is ridiculous. Is there a way to do the random drug and alcohol consortium without going through the third party grease balls.

You could sign up with NASTC for 225.00 a year and you are part of their consortium as well as other benefits.
