Man this job fair is a bit overwhelming. Republic services had one of the better deals or at least salesman.
Anyone have any experience with them in the oilfield ?

What was the Republic Services deal? Did they offer housing?
-
They did offer housing and 24 dollars an hour , time and a half after 40.
Lots of manual labor cleaning out waste tanks , they said the job is70 percent driving.
Most of the crude jobs that paid well had no housing.
Great deal if you want to live full time in carlsbad or hobbs
Could have signed on with some and gotten a relocation bonus but not into renting down there. -
Wow living in Carlsbad or Hobbs full time would drive a person insane!!!

Not sure where you are, but keep looking around local if your in Texas. A lot of the oil companies are handing out contracts for people to drive to West Texas pick a load up and head back.
-
I would be vert interested in something like that. Who's doing it and how much are they paying?

Plains West Texas is handing out contracts to OO, and companies. Its about 120K a year where I'm at! The company has a 14 month contract, and were paid $420ish to run one load from Barnhart Tx to Coutulla TX.
Takes about 11hrs to run from San Antonio to Barnhart, and back to Cotulla and back to the Yard! Its Lact to Lact also!
Easy Money!
