    I’m going to say 1 rubber bungee over the dunnage on the landing gear braces. Needs a strap to be secure.

    That’s what always scared me most about flatbed work.

    That crap couldn’t possibly pay enough for my comfort.

    We'll use them on expensive stuff like Redwood or finished moulding or marine plywood but that's about all.
    We hauled some decorative OG Redwood beams...40 x12x12... from Scotia to Tahoe last year. They were padded, paper wrapped, and we definitely put edge protectors on.

    Nothing illegal about that unless the trailer manufacturer specifically states the rub rail is not an attachment point.
