Finance Companies for Trailers

I bought mine about 4 years back, I got lucky and found just what I was looking for on the lot. In higher demand times it can be a lot more challenging for sure. I found mine at TEC in Fontana, I couldn't find anything in the Midwest at that time at all.

BMO Transportation Finance (formerly GE Capital) will finance trucks and trailers. I'm pretty sure they do trailers with 0 down.

Also, if you've been in business at least 2 years, check with your local bank about a SBA loan. Usually lower interest rates. Takes about a week to get it done.

 

I ordered my trailer in June of last year. Didn't take delivery until Oct. Rates were still mediocre at best.

But I had enough work to add a driver and I really wanted to see if adding drivers was something I could handle.

When rates picked up it sorta took me by surprise because I started pulling loads that I normally don't do from shippers I wasn't familiar with. Just got lucky that everything has been working out.

Things could change in the next 6 months. You just never know. I'm prepared and should be fine either way.

I'm sure you'll be fine. You've always seemed to be a guy who had their priorities straight when it comes to handling your money and keeping a maintenance fund. Just don't use too much on the go fast stuff under the hood.
