Whereabouts do you live?. There is regional out of main HQ in Richmond which basically means running the NE with an extra 10 cpm as Extremeunction mentioned. There is also regional out of Wytheville where you can expect to see a lot of Ohio and I mean A LOT of Ohio, and some Indiana too.
Miles?. I would guess at 2300ish in the NE and 3000 easy out of Wytheville unless you were heading home every week.

Welcome aboard. I think this is probably one of the best places to start. It was where I started and I've been here over 2 years, wouldn't trade them for another OTR company. You will certainly make good money if you run what they give you. For all the complaints you may read on here, lack of miles/money isnt one of them in my experience.

Going on duty is not a log violation. Only driving after your 14 is a log violation. Unless it’s a company policy.

Welcome. I am close to the 2 year mark also, this too is my starter company. Don't think I could have picked a better one. There are a lot of good folks here that will answer your questions.
Abilene will leave you be and let you do your job, that is what I like most about them.Redtwin and ExtremeUnction Thank this. -
Im not sure, there have been some increases since I started. The starting pay also depends on previous experience, which I know you dont have, but it still muddys the water as far as a definitive answer.

Good point, I doubt you will find a more helpful bunch willing to help others within their own company. I know a few of the regulars here in person and that has been my overriding experience.
Well I should say I dont personally know Jerry Rigs so it is possible that he is about as ornery and rambunctious as they come...but most of us aren't.
