Yep the drive to Karns City on 268 could be a little challenging in a loaded truck. Went today in my car. Everything went really well. Nice people. Went for drug test and physical. All is well except I have sleep apnea and have to get additional info from family doc and send to clinic in Seneca. Shouldn't be a problem though. And I also agree that anyone doing tanks should have experience in the industry first before going to tankers. Lot more headaches and DOT scrutinizing you more. Just my opinion though. They are looking at a big business get and adding 10 more drivers. They have put it on hold ( hiring that is) till the sales team secures the freight. They don't layoff here so they want to secure the freight first which makes sense.

This will be a quick get I have been told probally about a week or so . Keep calling ...

Oh and someone said Bulkmatic was a good place to work...I heard the same thing and applied there at their Taylor, MI office. The guy in charge there is a gianormous A-hole who couldn't care less about you or your wants or concerns...and makes that clear up front.

 

Dragging up a thread from the ancient past. I filled out an app. for one of Superior Carriers south Louisiana terminals yesterday hoping like hell I hear something back. I've put in apps for #### near every tank company that hires in my area except the sorry peanut paying tank jobs like SNI and LSMT. All the local gas rack jobs are taken other wise I would have been hired by KAG last week. I have hazmat and tank just no one really wants to take me on tank wise. I'm gonna scream if I get offered another reefer or dry van job.
