I can think of very little that is the same. Change. It happens. Not much I can do about change other than to accept the fact that change will be occurring. IMHO

I have what I call off duty and on duty uniforms. Note I do flatbed work. I wear basketball shorts, sneakers, and a tshirt when I drive, and I change clothes before entering a customer into long carhartt pants, steel toe non slip steel shank cowboy boots, long sleeve shirt with vest like reflections, and a hardhat, with safety glasses in the chest pocket.
1. I'm comfortable on 700mi driving days.
2. I'm professional at the customer.
3. When I'm dirty flatbedding, changing clothes keeps me and the truck clean.back street slider, Palma74, just_sayin and 4 others Thank this. -
Well, aren't you just a breath of fresh air! So glad you chimed in and set us all straight, accusing us of crying about change and accusing us of knowing everything and then calling us names, while providing no useful insight whatsoever. Thank you so much for this because apparently we desperately needed it!Opus, Oxbow, just_sayin and 4 others Thank this.

So on a drive day where you won’t deal with any customers you dress up like a goofus?

That was too funny!
X1 HEAVY WROTE:
"While trainee marches back towards the doors to get the seal number cursing my parentage, lineage, ancestry and everything else under the sun, Ive had that tractor trailer gently released on the service brake and rolling backwards slower than the trainee is walking (Usually by the middle marker light)
It will be a while before trainee stops dead and screams #### this is a long trailer. And then 2=2 being part of a joke. Sometimes I pay for that in knots and blood."
RESPONSE: Laughed my butt off. Great story!
Cattleman84, x1Heavy, tucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
What do you have against backpacks?
Also, what is the difference in your mind between a backpack and a duffel bag? -
I got nothing against guys looking like they're on a retreat at the bahamas but the fact of the matter is, when you're trucking, you're not on a retreat at the Bahamas.Oxbow, just_sayin, driverdriver and 4 others Thank this.
