Congrats, man. Goes to show that sometimes hard work does indeed pay off.

Honestly man, I lucked my way into it. I was just scheduling loads like always, and the broker who posted the load told me it was available for dedicated if I was interested. Which of course I was. But that meant I'd have to get myself back up to Ohio every week. But then she told me she had other drivers on this run, and she built them a triangle to get them back and she'd do the same for me. Sold. I told her my minimum requirements for pay per mile and these loads meet or exceed that number. Also gave her a list of places I want to avoid at which point she just laughed and said "I won't touch those cities with a ten foot pole." My kinda lady. Only downside is that the first leg from Ohio to Texas is always gonna be hazmat, and some of the other loads on the triangle will be as well. I guess I'll just have to get used to it. For the money it's paying, I'm down.

Dropped mine in dock around the side, front had 5-6 in it when I seen it.
Bad luck on the truck, can’t go far at 5 mph but on a good note you’ll never go on duty lol.
Until Labor Day I think that place will keep Millus busy

I believe I have a new "worst delivery". Not sure if it surpassed my last one, might be a tie. This place was a joke. To begin with, it was extremely tight. This was a drop and hook, but there was a twist. I had to drop my loaded trailer, pull my empty out of a dock, and try to put it somewhere out of the way. Hook back up to the loaded trailer, dock it, then hook back up to my empty. Hate that crap. Not a real big deal if there's actually room to do it. But there wasn't. Had to blindside on one of those moves while the a holes on the dock watched and never offered a hand. On the edge of the lot by the treeline there were truck parts laying around, clearly from previous victims. Mirror parts, bumper parts, etc. Good lord. I'm definitely enjoying the beer I'm holding at the moment.

No sir. I did this load as a favor for a broker. She's always been good to me. My triangle doesn't start until the 10th.
