Out of a month and a half that's been the longest wait time. If it had paid more and we didn't have a high paying load after it wouldn't have been a issue. We got out and still got to high paying load. Most of the time were in and out in under 5 hours.

Yes, we have next load and it's going home of all places. Doesn't pay but it's out of FL. Gives us two days home which we didn't plan on so we're taking time. We stopped at 3 pm at another TA. Hubby sleeping and I am off to sleep soon alse. I don't sleep much these days now that I past 50. So I am usually up a bit later than my younger hubby.

Well, this week has been a good week. Every load quick serve no waiting past an hour. Right now we're delivering a load of chicken livers. Who knew they could pay good. Our cheese load into MO was into a very interesting little town of Pedimont. No cell signal till way out of town. Felt like going back 50 years.

I was thinking about you the other day cyber cat. Unless you've been there its hard to appreciate what a terrific accomplishment you and hubby made. Pulling up out of debt and juggling so many changes. Its been a rough road for you guys and you deserve to feel really proud.

It seems your truck is nothing more than a money pit. You mention that your husband is a trained mechanic but he still can’t keep the preventative maintenance to stay running without breaking down. When you no longer have this .15 maintenance allowance, which is gone when you get the title then how in the world do you think you can survive. He drives for peanuts now and you blame everyone else for your problems, like bad mechanics, bad fuel stops, bad dispatch, bad brokers but not your own stupidity. You are like the liberal snowflakes, blaming everyone for your own bad choices.
