Watch the schedule, out here they rotate so you'd only get good OT one week out of 3, but work long hours just the same.

How can you work long hours if you only
Get overtime 1 week out of 3.

That's probably the reason there all the
Way in charlotte looking for help.
And not giving any info about the job.

    That's a crappy oilfield job.

WF, it's on the oilfield forum somewhere, someone experienced saved me and some others from trouble with SJ by explaining it.

They rotate you in so that the first payroll week is already half done, you only work 3-4 days, not much OT if any.
Then the next payroll week starts and you get a full week, lots of OT if you work.
Then the next payroll week you work 3-4 days and rotate out.

So you worked 15 straight days and mostly only got OT for the middle part.

There's a further rotation outside of that so that every so many weeks your cycle includes two full payroll weeks, those weeks you'd make out. But because it rotates one day ahead each cycle it won't be often.

The Elwood people I spoke with seemed unaware of that outside cycle, but with 15/6 it's inevitable. If they kept it to 14/7 and aligned schedule weeks with payroll weeks it would cost them more and they would get one less cheap day out of you.

That's how Nabors did it in the end of 2014 to cut costs. I wasnt having it, so I left.
