I just talked with a Beakins recruiter at a truck show. The idea of being an o/o hauling in their trade show division sounded like a posibility. The pay was $1.09+fsc. I still have a lot of questions, such as deadhead pay, but they said central Illinois is a great place to be based for someone looking for hometime.

Have any of you hauled for this company specificaly and done trade shows in general?

that sounds like an extreamly low rate for that type of work. those guys sit for weeks too and I know they aren't affording those big sleepers on $1.09 a mile.
call McCollasters which is UNited van lines and ask what they pay for the same work

I didn't include any of the extras such as delay time at the staging yards. This was just what the pay per mile is.
