Lots of towns seem to be doing that lately. Unless a Wal Mart has obvious trukk parking I no longer waste my time trying to park at any of them. I have no interest in being on display for the folks that shop there.
bryan21384 and stwik Thank this. -
Same here, but is nice to stay for a 10 sometimes when your restocking supplies!

According to an inside source, the mayor of Springfield tried to return something to WalMart without a receipt and was rejected. This is his revenge.

Yes but sometime ago I made it a habit to start going in the store and asking the manager if it was ok to park overnight. Had a few places say you can park if you buy something which I have absolutely no problem doing. There were a few places that said no parking was allowed at all. Then I started calling the Wal Mart before I got there. Shortly after that I just gave up altogether on the stores. For me they are the ultimate last resort when desperate.stwik Thanks this.

Wal Mart policy. Can't return a used thong. I don't know why. You know #### well a Wal Mart employee is just gonna take it home anyway.bryan21384 and Kyle G. Thank this.

two days ago I entered from I-55 south to I-72 west and I saw 6-8 trucks were parked at Wal-Mart (Springfield, IL) ...

I just read a article on this. Truck parking is not part of the parking plan summited when they built it. If they would add truck parking spots along with a new plan it would be OK to park. I have no idea if it's true but I read it on the internet so it must be.

Unfortunately, though an individual boycott would make you feel like at least that particular city isn't getting your money, I doubt they would feel the pinch. What that city needs is some big manufacturing facilities to close up and move overseas, putting thousands out of work, and removing taxes. But then again, don't fret my friend. It seems Trumps tariffs are doing just that anyhow

Google maps street view is useful to scout the an area before you go there. Granted the images may be a few years old and things can change.
Just do business somewhere else. The only thing that stays the same is change.bryan21384 Thanks this.
