Tomorrow I ship or for Carlisle, PA and orientation at Big Orange. Unfortunately, my present health prevented me from doing tanker work but I'm excited to get going again in the van division. I'll try and let everyone know what Orientation in Carlisle is like. I'm driving there in my own vehicle because I only live 2 hours away and don't want to sit on the grey dawg.
This time should be a success because I won't have the pre-work screen. I know I can at least get a one year medical card so I should be good to go. I'm even looking forward to going out with a training engineer and picking up some additional pointers and strategies.
Starting my career again with Schneider

Thanks bud. I'm far from quitting!

This is your first time driving with a CDL ? If so is training only 3 to 4 weeks for people without there CDL ?
-
No, I last drove tractor trailers 3 years ago.

You do realize.... Schneider does not allow intelligent life forms in the truck.

What was the tanker work screen like here in Cory? I'll be attending orientation tomorrow. Is it much different than the work screen SNI used to do for the van division?

Has Schneider speed raised any? I drove for them in 2011 and speed was 60 mph cruise and 65 pedal. My dispatcher would shake her finger and be like need to quit that speeding.
