You can even go to 4State trucks and have a 359 corvette style dash installed if you like.

 

I ordered my 2014 389 with rosewood. It was an option, even with Platinum guts. Apparently, according to my salesman, there was an outcry as it wasn’t even available in 2011 or 2012.

 

Yes, but plenty of people are gonna be a problem, doesn’t matter what is going on. They just want to be a problem.
Also forgot about the 2000. I was driving that when I decided to buy the 97. The 97 and 2000 were identical.

 

You can’t order a new truck with Platinum interior without the LCD screen. If you get a lower scale interior, you can get a standard automotive stereo.

 

It’s pretty ain’t it? I really like it in mine.

Yeah they are pretty ugly. All of them.

The ugliest thing is when you flip the hood and you see all those electronics and sensors and emission controls and all those dollar signs flushing down the toilet. Ugliest thing I ever seen in my life.

Then you shut the hood and it still ugly. Then you get inside and it's all plastic. Really ugly. Definitely not for me.

Supposed progress is really an ugly business with an ugly product.

Yes the first dash change didn't happen until 2001 model year.

 

The longer, extended hood is only way a 3408CAT would fit?
