    Mack mp8 is a pulling machine drive a 2015 and had zero problems,but push come to shove I’d take the cummins cause parts are easier to find and more people know how to work on them.

    Mp8 = Volvo D13 they have there known problems. If you can find a 2010 I would go with that year. No DEF

    Injector cups failure. I know the engine well. Currently just over 1.02 million miles and had to replace the head at 933k

    Without the def you have a regening nightmare . Unless you get rid of it .

    Really? Please explain.
    The first year of Def for the D13 was 2011. So 08 to 2010 was just the dpf. I owned a 2008 ISX with with no def as well.
