I thought one of the perks for working for Abilene is that all of their trucks are team spec, even if they're going to solo drivers?
-
But to answer your question, those sweet drinks with the little umbrellas got old after awhile... and young girls in bikinis rubbing suntan lotion on my back, ya, that too got old... so I dipped my toe into the Real Estate pool... so ya, the wife is still the bread winner of the family... LOL4mer trucker and ExtremeUnction Thank this.

The same thought crossed my mind. I loved having the attic to toss stuff into as needed.

Frank died!
He was was my first trainer and I remember when his battle with cancer started. It's very sad to hear this news. Do you have any contact with the family? -
I wasn’t aware that he was fighting cancer but I’ve been MIA here for a minute
Yes, I have his son’s phone number.
I’ll send it to you via private message. -
I didnt look inside. If they only have one bunk then they are not for teams which means one of them will have your name on it!

The leased Western Stars are all single bunk. Apparently they got a good deal on them because of that. I doubt that would be the case with a 100 unit order though.

Someone suggested that they went to 5 digit numbers so there wouldn't be confusion with the 19 numbered daycabs. Makes sense, also 5 digit tractor numbers makes the fleet appear larger than it really is.
Or maybe Knight commanded that new Abilene trucks have 5 digit numbers to more closely match the Knight fleet numbering system.
MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.
