if you want blue shield ppo thru delta health - zero copay & access to any doctor or specialist without a referral & most everything covered 100% (some between 90 & 99% - occasional bills for like 10-40 bucks), 100% prescription coverage, 100% dental coverage, 100% vision, $2000 a year chiropractic, and all of this is for ALL of your family members be it 1 or 10 (for myself it is 5), then yes you will pay anywhere from 1500 to upwards of 3k a month if attempting to purchase the insurance yourself

and yes i have to agree with you guys on freight probably getting screwed again ... i knew they were ATTEMPTING to receive the same pay as feeder but was talking to a freight guy last week at a rest stop & yea he informed me that their current negotiations are not getting them #### and definitely not the same pay as feeder. i'm pretty happy with all as is, but as i'm sure some of you know many upsers are going with a no vote on the contract, both feeder & freight, & package drivers as well

How have things been going with Estes? Have you been driving linehaul? Nights or days? What's your weekly schedule like? Are you happy with the miles. Keep us posted...
    Good luck!

Everything has been going good, I am a linehaul driver. I work nights, we only have 1 daytime linehual run. I work
M-F I have a 10:30PM gatetime. I am happy with my run. I chose to sign up every other weekend for extra runs. I don't see myself leaving anytime soon.

I'm glad to hear that you've found a good fit! LTL companies like Estes are definitely career companies if you are satisfied with that type of trucking. Best regards!

payslip.png My most recent check, as a note I am at the bottom of the payscale and also have the shortest run of our barn. Next month my insurance will be on there in addition to 401k deductions. Health insurance/vision/dental plan I chose is 25 a week and I will be taking a 7% 401k deduction.
