What you are talking about happened back in 2004. The original lawsuit started in 2002. In 2007 the court ruled that the lease program from 1998 to 2002 violated leasing regulation. And that the lease program from 2002 to present was legal. Currently England was ordered to account for every penny of the escrow accts from 98-02 which will be done in march to see if those 3000 or so lease drivers from that period will be getting any cash back. So they were not getting sued about the .14cpm variable mileage charge as you said in a past post. All the leases from summer of 02 to present time people were legally being screwed over by England lol. Which is a shame. When i leased there the variable mileage charge was only .03 cpm with a penny of that going back to the driver per mile at lease completion. Things were more profitable back then. I feel sorry for those folks leasing now that have to pay. 420 bux if they run 3000 miles on top of the 480 truck payment where as in 05 or 06 they woulda had to pay only 90 bux. one reason people dont make the money there they used to. If you were a trainer like i was and you had say 5800 miles paid the vmc would have been 812 bux plus your truck payment.lol are you kidding me over 1200 bux a week as a truck payment not including fuel, insurance, maint account, tax acct. fuel tax. Ha ha ha ha Thats funny i really feel for those poor saps that lease nowadays.
Good thing you got out to your local job eh. Least your with your family now, Not out DRIVING LIFE at England....:biggrin_25525:

Sadly most if not all bigger and small trucking companies lie about things to get you there. Just have to take what they say with a grain of salt.
