If you eat under cooked pork or chicken you are asking for food poisoning bottom line. I always try to make sure before serving either poultry or pork to my family that it is thoroughly cooked.
Now if you turn my steak into a charred hockey puck we are gonna have problems!

I am OCD when it comes to the way ANY raw meat is cared for here at home, and I cook it till it falls off the bone to be SURE it is fully cooked. When eatting out I am not gonna order chicken thats for sure and if the food isnt steamin hot when it gets to the table I send it back, picky maybe BUT there are just some things I cant let slide....food prep is just one.

In your refrigerator, chicken should be stored on the bottom shelf in case it drips. When preparing chicken, utensils and cutting boards that contact chicken should not be used again until washed. Hand washing is vital after touching raw chicken. Avoid cross-contamination. My wife told me that. :biggrin_25525:
