Welcome cowboys dad. Thanks for the update.
Yea Jess, Just kids in general. Been hard on them this time out. 1bad would call and talk for awhile at night while in slc. But driving now he can't and the little one doesn't understand why she can't talk to daddy at night like she used too. So I am trying to keep them busy to keep there mind off of it. Also, it's softball time and we are practicing in the back yard everyday to get them ready. Practices start next week! #1 has her 1st one on Wed for 3 hours. And girl scouts have been keeping us very busy lately. Cookies, pet drives for bronze award for the oldest. Field trips for the little one. And then there is homework trying to prep the oldest for middle school next year. I will try and be on more.
Keep it between the yellow boys!

Hey everybody i'm not a central driver but i've seen alot of good stuff on them. i am wondering how are they for a team company drivers? Do you guys run new york city? Whats the hometime policy? any idea on the avg miles for a team per week on the company side? I'm with a J.I.T company right now and we are only getting on avg 2500 miles per week as ateam. As we sit right now at home since last thurs. we were gonna leave saturday nite but no freight thats great stayed out 2.5 weeks i'll take 3.5 days off till monday but still they have no freight. So we need to go somewhere where we can make at least steady money plus we are ready to pull a reefer again so why not kill 2 birds with one stone lol . thanks for any info by the way we live in va on i-81 so would that be a decent place to live for hometime and loading out?

Thank you for posting for him and tell him good luck.
-
I know that some teams run dedicated accounts I think it is Dole........Smadronia will correct if I'm wrong hopefully lol
We live on I-84 and don't have a problem getting loads home and back out again.
Miles are slow with everyone, JJ is getting good miles right now as he has a student on the truck and the student needs to get so many miles in the 28 days.
Run pretty much the 48 states, but in saying that we have only ran NY twice in a little over a year.
Hopefully this info helped a little and Smadronia reads this and then he can give you very accurate and up to date info. -
I was wondering if someone can give me any info about the medical/vision/dental insurance? Rhino has until the 28th, I think to fill out all the insurance forms. Can anyone let me know if the insurance is worth it? I have read the papers and just don't understand it all. I know this is a wide range question. Just a little insight would help. It would be a family policy since we have 8 kids! lol
Thank you!
Be Blessed! -
Sorry LadyElite, We dont have insurance through Central so I can't help you.
JJ looked into it a little and decided it was to expensive. -
I have been looking at it for our family. Yes it is a bit expensive. But being a Medical biller in the past. Regardless of price it is a necessity when you have kids. We know how anything can happen at any moment. Compared to some other policies I have been looking at it is very comparable to everything else that is out there right now. It actually covers some things that most companies won't include in there plans. Not to mention how repetuable Atena is. We have had them in the past and they always pay what they are supposed to on time. I suggest the HMO if it is still available. Especially if your kids have been treated for anything in the last 6 months that could reoccur or turn into need procedures such as tubes in the ear/s or have tonsils removed. If not they will say it is pre-exsisting condition and not cover a penny of it. Also, a great benefit is no deductable. Pay your copays and go! I love HMO's. That is all we have ever had and never had any problems. If you need help understanding any of the verbage let me know. I am very verse in insurance lingo. Being from that back ground and I help my parents w/ all thier medical problems w/ both medicare and private insurance.
Help me know if I can help you! -
Meant let me know if I can help. Sorry had a couple ####tails tonight. My bad! lol
-
LMAO your to funny.
When JJ looked into the insurance it was through united I think, so they must have changed or JJ dream't that. -
Or I dreamed it. I haven't seen the paperwork yet. 1bad forgot it when he left slc the 1st time. I was looking at it on the central website.
