    I saw this on our news last night. It's about time too!

    Our governor was commenting that the law wasn't really necessary, and I'm thinking 'Well, why didn't you boneheads get rid of it then? You have the power to do that!'

    I don't know if that is such a good thing,....The minimum markup laws help keep the businesses on a level playing field,...As soon as the only stores left are the big players,...Prices will go up,....

    Obviously the other states are doing just fine without a minimum mark up law. The only way it could turn bad is if the big guys took a loss on their oil long enough that the small players couldn't stick around. But in this day and age I don't see that happening any time soon. Even the big companies don't have enough money in their back pocket to take a loss long enough to do that right now.

    I think WI minimum markup laws also apply to all retail stores,....If so that means the end of all the mom and pop stores,....I personally like the little stores and would like to to see them stick around,...
