We are not working when that is done. You are working when that is done.

There are not nor should there be a difference. On duty is on duty. You could drop your truck at a shop and leave it. You choose to do on duty activities.

No. I was a Boyscout, Crossing Guard Captain, and terminal detention receiving smart ###.

We did not require hall monitors. I was raised in an environment of personal responsibility, and integrity.

@06driver, at first I respected your opinion. Not anymore. You are obviously NOT an O/O so why are you responding here? If you are not then fine, post away with your rigid BS but at least be transparent about who you are. At this point I’m pretty sure you are either a company owner with a grudge against independents or a guvment operative.

Companies have lawyers, lobbyists, etc.to help them break the rules. O/O’s do not.

If personal responsibility and integrity were at all important to you you would not respect the government and it’s arbitrary rules like you do.

Glad I’m not a kid in your house.

I've had him blocked since I've been a member here. All he does is troll while never posting anything of value to the community here.

PC is not a crutch for poor planning or a shortcut to squeeze in a 34. The problem with shortcuts is that they work so well until one day it doesn’t work and you’re leaving the scene of an accident in handcuffs. If you’re worried about missing the appointment, don’t accept the load. I’ve turned down plenty of loads because they’re too tight or don’t work with my 14. It hurts to do it and you might have to pass up some great loads but it’s not the end of the world.

All I can say is do what you gotta do. I have never used an E log device so I can't give any advice there.

The guys that never make mistakes, have every plan come together every time or never had to pull a rabbit out of a hat on cue ain't doing a #### thing anyway. Except breathing useable oxygen
