I’ll have an answer for you tomorrow evening. Yea I had the same problem with CT. The thing with them they have one recruiter and it’s a female right. Unless they added people that’s why I didn’t go with them when I started

 

Ok got an answer. They need drivers so just be on the look out for a posting. Either the Fastenal website or Indeed. Yea the lady is nice over the phone but their communication is horrible which drove me away from them because of the communication is bad and I’m not hired yet how will it be when I’m on the road. But hope the info helps you in any decision you make and best of luck to you.

 

It is a free country and you are free to have whatever opinions you desire. However it is a MAJOR mistake to make a judgement of a carrier just because of miscommunication during the recruitment process. I agree that it can be frustrating. However know this. It will NOT carry over to operations if you hire on. If you want to drive for Fastenal that's great. However there is no point in dumping all over CT to validate that decision. I know those people including their sisters carriers and they are great people. If you are not happy with and/or feel like you are being ignored by the CT recruiter then fix the problem. Now I am going to ask you as nicely as I know how, to stop badmouthing one of the better carriers in Middle Florida. There are other people that read these threads and might scratch them off a list just because of your words. Thereby maybe missing a great job opportunity!

 

Sometimes communications breakdowns are a two way street. I know a guy that just the other day was angry that he had not heard from a carrier after sending several emails. Said much the same as you just did. Screw em, if they want me they have my number. Turns out their emails got sent to his spam folder. My point was in that first comment and still is! Fix the problem. Comcar want's and needs drivers. All four of their carriers can be great places to work. I know because I worked for them. Now another person in here has turned you on to another carrier that might be a better fit for you. However you are attempting to connect a bridge between what you perceive as a problem and turn it into a issue in attempting to justify that choice. I have asked you nicely to not do that. I don't know you but I would actually love to have some coffee sometimes, my treat! I'm not trying to be difficult, I'm just trying to get you to understand that others do read these forums. One more point. Comcar needs to know if they have a person working in that dept that is pushing people away. This is what I mean by fixing the problem.

 

Great response. For the record I am no way shape or form trying to recruit or lead this driver into another company. I shared my personal experience with them and how he takes it is on him. I’m simply sharing another carrier because not too many people no about it and I’m just sharing knowledge. I’m sorry but if I made life choices based on what other people said I would end up no where. People will and can have their opinions about anything and anybody. I hear opinions all the time about Swift, CR England, CRST and so on but that doesn’t mean that’s going to drive me away from them. In life you need to hear the positives and negatives about everything so you not walking in blind side. Everybody lives differently than you sir just because you don’t agree with their statement doesn’t mean you have the right to tell them to stop bashing giving their opinion about a company. I personally think they are not a good company. And I’ve talked to their drivers and they hate it there. Your experience is different from others so @Hernandez19 as we say in the Army CM and good luck brother.
