ok has anyone heard anything about USX going through with forcing solos to team or lease or quit? please respond back. im currently on hometime and my truck is in the shop and if their going to do that to me im going to cleaning it out now. and if they are going to do that then they are a crapy company. i understand that the economy is bad right now but dont force or push out the good drivers.
Any news on SOLO USX drivers?

I work at USX and for the 900th time those states listed are the only states USX is making people team. It is due to hometime its not cost effective to send drivers deadhead 200 miles home only to deadhead 200 miles back for a load.
venne, CarolinaViking and panhandlepat Thank this. -
what were those other states? like Ca. Tx. and a few others?

How do you get a hold of anyone? Get an email telling me who my recruiter is, but they never call and never answer.....

I was dispatched from East Point, Ga (Bobtailed) to Tunnel Hill , Ga. with out knowing what was going on and when I got there I was given the option to team with someone that I did not know(drive twise as many miles for the same pay)
or lease a truck from them( Not an option for me)
or go home. Oh BTW they only gave me two hrs to make up my mind or get my things out of my truck. Well that was in November and been home scence. I tried to get unemployment but could not because they said I quit. Any way I never had any problems getting loads out of Florida and most were with in 100 miles of the house. I for one do think that USX will go all teams soon.
