After about a dozen transfers and people yelling at each other in the background I finally got ahold of somebody named Billy who's evidently a fleet manager he said they only lease 2019 389 right now that are about $150,000. The payment plan is $750 a week taken out every two weeks for $3,000 a month total, 5 year lease with a $50,000 buyout at the end. Not really my cup of tea especially for only bringing home an average of $1,200 a week is what he told me. He told me that pay $1.30 a mile all miles. So you'll be looking in about 30 to $0.40 take home after all is said and doneCrossettDriver Thanks this.

Lease for five years get paid company driver wages sometimes. 50,000 balloon after getting fleeced for 5 years. 3000 a month no equity for the driver and all the financial risk. No Money no truck or worn out truck that needs a 20,000 inframe. Life's short why shorten it even more by stressing yourself out for a peterbilt. I had 3 already and now you can't give me one. I work for a good company
enjoying the good life. I thank Jesus for everything. Good LuckLast edited: Aug 30, 2018

These companies are playing games with people lives and sometimes setting them back for a decade.

What the heck are you talking about??? I don't which company you're having issues with, but those aren't Great Plain's numbers, bud.
Two or three year lease of a three or four year old truck. No balloon. Volvos or FLs, no Petes. You're definitely in the wrong thread.Hix Transportation and Surefyre Thank this. -
I started here at great plains on 9/10, leasing a 2015 FL on a two year note. Brought home $2000 net on a run from California to Wisconsin. Numbers are looking decent here!

I'm thinking about starting at GP on the company side then switching to LP later any advise? Also considering their flatbed side as well. Just looking to see avg net on company and lp side if anyone is willing to share that info with me.

I'll hook you up later. Just finishing my 30.

As a company driver (which I did for 6 months), I averaged around $950 take home. As a lease-op, I figure my avg week as around $1800 take home. Since mid-May (when I started lease-op), I've grossed $108k.
