1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Know of any OTR jobs that fit me?

There is tons of liesure time in trucking. Well that is if your idea of liesure tine is sitting in a metal box half the size if a prison cell waiting for the quailcom to beep because if you leave the trk and miss that beep they will give yiur load to the next guy after 15 minutes. Oh. Your not geTting paid for it and the tk stop is raping you for anything you buy

Do you live like that ? You have my sympathy . Our drivers go to the terminal (10 minutes from my house ) hook up a preloaded trailer , run it for delivery and since all loads are dedicated bring the empty back to the terminal and drop it . With preloaded , dedicated trailers we make more in 50 hours than many drivers do in 70 + . If we wait for loads we do it at the house .

You are spoiled! :biggrin_25525: Honestly, that is a sweet gig.

Out of honest curiosity, how much experience did you have when you got hooked up with that place? Is it an outfit that has a minimum experience requirement?

lol! ...Harleymanjax ...Ive had a job, for like 4 months now. When you have a fairly good work history, and God helping you in all that you lack, its not too hard to get a job.

Anyways thanks all for your serious replys, I guess I knew better when I signed on. But my dreams of smoking like a chimney, and listening to talk radio all day have come to pass.

I thought I may find a place that lets you have the sabbath off and have a little extra time to bible bang everyday, but looked on the net and found none. Knowing a fair number of truckers that skreech at any mention of God thought Id be a bit discreet about it.

Anyways thanks for the "Point Blank"

Stick around here anyway. We do have several members that regularly discuss religion. It's not a taboo subject here.
