I’ve had the pleasure of driving a Kenworth/paccar at 5mph de-rated across town to the dealer.

Same here. My last truck was an 18 speed but for some reason I really dig a good 13.

Where I am about to load there is an uphill combined with a left turn. If I have to stop at the end of the street before the left, I will have to hang in 3rd until the next stop sign. If I could split, I could pull the next hole. But I can't with 13 speed.

Treadwell farm is about a mile down the road from my place. I'm on Wallace rd. before it turns to Peoria. Bruce bought my granddad's business from grandad's partner back around 2001. He's really grown it into quite a large operation. When I was a kid Bruce and his Dad had an old blue International and picked up the milk from my cousins grandparents farm in Alexander.
