Which cable did you fry when it happened? I’m having a similar issue with my 09 D13 not getting any response from the ecm and no start issues.

How did you replaced the whole fuse box? I mean how did you get the wires off the underside of the fuse box?

I had the same situation engine stalled during driving and code J1939 Communication Problem with Engine ECU. MID 144 PSID 200 FMI 9. I checked 20 amp fuse under hood was blown.Replaced no luck disconnected batteries a couple times no luck. Disconnected ECU plug when ignition is off saw moisture inside and melted pins. Towed to dealer replaced ECU and reprogrammed it work fine. Wont start and run with new ECU before it's reprogrammed. I did not do diagnostic just purchased ECU 800$ with core exchange. Replaced myself. Dealer reprogrammed it for 300$ and towing was expensive like 1500. But now works fine.

I'm guessing you mean the Engine ECU on the side of the engine? Not the vehicle ECU, which is under the fuse-block area on the dash.
