I am 4”11 tall lmao and I’m thinking of driving truck we’ll see what happen on my training hahahahahha
-
I been around dwarfs in trucking shorter than that. I never really questioned their ability to do the job and drive.
You should be ok. Today's newer trucks probably have the ability to adjust to fit you pretty well by now I imagine.
In my time Ive had children not that tall run carnival tractor trailers on the highway a time or two, doing well too I might add. (You can bet they will never forget it...) -
make sure to bring a pillow and/or a special pair of shoe with a thick bottom. will help you out a lot

I wouldn't listen to anybody since you've got your CDL permit, my medical card - the most important things. My wife's a shorty and she has lots of shoes with 1-1.5" tall sole, and she says they are very comfortable for driving.
-
Normal sized people like you and me can drive any of the trucks built in the last 20 years. It's not an issue.

You should look at the Crete thread.
According to them, Crete discriminates. Don’t allow anyone over 5 feet tall? -
