I cant speak for tankers, never pulled them. I pull double and triple pups all the time where I'm at. They don't off track very much compared to a 53'. When you take corners generally if the first set of trailer axles clear, the rest will follow. It's deceiving when you look in the mirror and appears at first that the rest of the axles won't clear, but you keep watching and sure enough they do. With triples you don't have to swing as wide as a 53'. You can turn too sharply and cause the trailers to kiss at the pivot point. That's something you have to be careful of but usually only occurs when doing a 180.

When pulling combinations the trailers are required to be heaviest first lightest last. Because this is a straight truck, though it doesn't cause control problems for the trailer following behind.

That’s a Pacific Northwest truck and trailer NOT a semi. Easy to drive. Easy to back once you get it with practice. It is different than doubles and semi trailers. I can back doubles straight about one truck length but that’s about it.
