Kyle - .Been talking with Mandy, I believe the pet deposit is less than you mentioned. I send her an email to confirm the fee.

According to Mandy "no fee for riders, however, there is a refundable $500 for your first pet and $250 for any pet after. We can work with you on the pet deposit and take $50-100 per paycheck until it is paid so that it doesn’t break the bank". The key-word with the pet-fee is "refundable", I learned only after paying pet-fee with current company that it is non-refunable, so when I turn my truck in I'm leaving it way I got it.

Yes if the truck is clean when you turn it in you get your deposit back. It also transfers to the next truck. We had some drivers burn us turning in trucks that pets had destroyed. Chewed up shifters and seats. The worst was a driver was using a drawer in the sleeper as a cat liter box. No respect.

The smell that must have created. Let me guess it was the drawer under the fridge on a T680? I know it's about the perfect size.

Thought so. I have the same one in my T880.

I don't even use that drawer. I keep my atlas in there only because it's completely laminated. Every time my fridge looses power it leaks condensation into that drawer. Ruins anything that can absorb water.

My brother in law worked (or might still if he hasn't retired) for SPD for a lot of years. He started in the 80's as a driver and worked his way into the office. He loved the company and said he never wanted to work for anyone else. Satisfaction like that is hard to find in most trucking companies.

I hear they have a bonus pay of cat litter if you have 1.5 cats in the truck?
