Interesting and didn't know that thanks ....I always liked the Albertsons stores that were in the Omaha metro but about 10 years they all closed , stiff competition from hy vee and Nash finch ( now Spartan Nash) would be my guess .
Super value never has had much of a presence here ....hy vee rules the upscale grocery market around here these days .

 

Albertson's used to be in the houston area too..even built a huge dc and after about 6yrs, they closed up and left...folks didn't like their sky high prices...being that heb down here smoked them they left and closed the dc...
