any tank companies that will lease a 21 year old O/O? Preferably a smaller company with pretty good rates? Thanks!

What part of the US are we talking about, what kind of tanking, and are we talking regional or OTR?

Tanker work sucks. Dont do it. Stick with vans, refer, or flatbed.

Was looking at reefer also. I live in Kentucky. Pulled a tank a bit not much. Never been around a reefer, seems like decent rates on the reefer, just don’t know a thing about them.

tanker only works good if you are doing long haul or dedicated for the same product.

I think he was being sarcastic and trying to keep the riff raff out.

That's not true at all. That may be true at your company, but that's not true everywhere. I make plenty of money running under 500 mile runs.

    REO6205 Thanks this.

I run 80 miles a day now and make a killing. When those loads are delayed or cancelled I have other things I can do just the same. Like ^^^ said, it depends more on your company and location than anything.

Okay, that makes sense. But keeping the riff raff out is a lost cause.
Tanker drivers used to be the cream of the crop. Most of them still are but I've seen some lately that looked like rejects from the Salvation Army donation trucks. Drove like it too.
