    I think the problem they have is with idiots who run straight pipes and jake an empty wagon to a stop—downshifting every gear because it "sounds cool".

    Then again, NIMBY's who choose to live on a truck route can kiss my ___ when it comes to me jaking down a hill into a town. A blanket ordinance doesn't fit every situation.

    Don't want to hear the trucks? Move somewhere where there are no trucks... Enjoy paying a premium price when you have to drive 150 miles to the grocery store though.

    I full heartly agree, coming into Charleston north bound with a heavy load you need the jakes and by putting this stupid law in place would compromise safety and besides that we have better things to worry about then "noisy trucks" *cough* economy...sorry excuse me
