With respect, it does matter. I propose if the two RV spots are full, they move on. I assume you'd be ok with that? Btw, you look great in a bikini
Please give advice for the RV community

Biggest peeve is when a rv passes at the very top of a grade. What goes up the hill slow comes down the hill fast. Stay left. You're light, I'm heavy. When my brakes fail, I'm taking you with me.
Parking, I don't care. I drive reefer, you won't sleep next to me for long.HowTheOtherHalfLives, NightWind, Lonesome and 4 others Thank this. -

on "average", we spend more money per truck stop than the average RV'er..you do not have multi gallon fuel tanks like we do. you have what, maybe at best up to a 40 gallon tank. (depending on the RV size, and specs).
we have a limited number of clean clothes with us, and we need to use the laundry (more money spent)
YOU have a built in shower, we don't if we cannot get a free shower, we have to pay for one.
(more money spent).
you HAVE YOUR HOME in the RV, and many conveniences we simply DO NOT HAVE.
which equals MONEY we spend at the truck stops over an RV'er...
i think we deserve the parking spaces over someone with thier HOME either behind them, or with in the same vehicle (such as an RV bus...)hagarcobra and Swiss Mountain Dog Thank this. -

we are more beat than the average person
we NEED to take a 10 hour rest break, and we need to take a 30 minute rest break
that's the basic 24 hour clock that we have, and noooo, we don't all drive at the same time, or take breaks at the same time, and this too is the reason why all truck stops are jammed packed nearly ANYTIME, we pull into one.CorsairFanboy, Swiss Mountain Dog and Creativity RV Thank this. -
I now drive a truck full time, so I do understand the concern about limited parking options for us. However, the tone of some of these responses is very immature from my perspective. Truck drivers do not own these places, although they seem to act like they do. Common sense and consideration for others goes along way.
My advice would simply be to encourage the RV community to choose other options when possible, but to say that they should never use a truckstop, to me, is ridiculous.Last edited: Sep 13, 2018
