Please give advice for the RV community

    Go in at off peak times and shower. You'll be amazed at how little you really need all those "amenities" the truck stops nickle and dime you for.

    many times, drivers have no choice on the time they hit up a truck stop, now if you are a driver, you'd know that.

    can't really give a specific time for "off peak"....truck stops in some areas are busy 24/7.

    Peak times for a truck stop are lunch and as soon as it gets dark. Closer it is to a big city, the busier it will be. The worst are permanently full it seems.

    For showers, early morning, lunch, and end of day will be a wait. That's when everybody wants one.
