I do too, but thats not what happened in this case.
    1) Nowhere in this story... anywhere... does it say that driver 1 was just parking, sitting, tieing up the fuel island.
    2) It wasn't the #1 driver (in the fuel island) shot, it was the #2 driver (2nd in line to get fuel) that was shot..

No, there was one idiot (and he got shot) & one who was protecting himself (self defense).

He was tying up the fuel pump.. Why do you think the confrontation even started?

Even before clicking the thread I figured this happened in FL, TX or GA. Where everyone stands their ground, acting in self defense because they "feared for their life". YEA OK.

Too many of you are sounding like eye witnesses based off an article and YT video. To me, it seemed like the idiot on the fuel pump felt like a bad ### with a ME ME ME attitude and a pistol to back it up. How do you LET someone walk back to their truck anyway, with "your life in danger"? A haymaker to the head would have sufficed, but nope Mr pussycat would rather attempt murder.

He's 70+ ft away back in his cab, what are ya defending at that point?

So you were there and witnessed the entire incident? If not then please direct us to the police report or stop stating your opinion as factual.

Loves,Flying J/Pilot are where all the bottom feeder truck companies fuel at. So this is where thier untrained, barely human "drivers" have to go for thier fuel . Of course they do all of their business at the pump because they are untrained and don't know anything about courtesy or common sense. It doesn't do any good to talk to them because most of them are stupid. My company has these truckstops on the list, but I refuse to use them for this reason. These things rarely happen at Petros and the independents. Nothing in this industry will get better til the companies stop putting these morons in thier trucks.

I wasnt there any more that any of you were, but.... these witness's were:
"Long says the he reviewed dash cam footage from the rear truck and gathered witness statements. He says that his investigation revealed that the shooter acted in self defense and therefore he will not not be charged. “Based on witness statements, the victim and the shooter, and video and audio of the incident, it clearly shows self-defense,” said Long."
    https://cdllife.com/2018/no-charges-filed-georgia-truck-stop-shooting/#

If witness's, audio/video, the shooter & the victim all gave information showing it was self defense, how much more evidence do you need? Even the victim's statement given to the police clearly (according to the report) show it was self defense.
In the end it doesnt matter what the initial issue was, in the end, #2 pulled a gun & #1 shot him in self defense. Again, regardless of what the disagreement was about, #2 was only protecting himself against a man who pulled a gun .... 1st. In this case.... according to the information we have been provided, #1 had EVERY right to protect himself & shoot #2 who, according to all reports, pulled HIS gun FIRST.

Breaker 1-9 can I get a bandaid buggy to pump #6? Mr. Comdata up here just drilled me three times.

The victim was still able to get a couple roller dogs while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.

So your telling me all those trucks parked on the fuel island every day, they are probably stalled then? Good to know when every island is taken up by a parked truck. I’ll just assume they are all stalled.

Loves is truck stop that seems to have a problem with drivers getting shot. There was a security guard that shot and killed a driver at a loves some time ago. And at times I have seen these armed guards at different locations. I'm not sure why Loves started this.
