Just another day at the office, I'll be working.
Bean Jr., 86mechanic and Night_driver Thank this. -
Why would you stay home, Your brakes should always be in the condition to pass, or you should not be driving it. Same with the rest of your truck, never understood bout drivers getting weird about inspections or scales. If you do your job they are never any sweat.
I run 3 rounds a week from LA to Phx or Tucson, I get a real kick over drivers crying about going thru Banning. If your trucks not ready then they should stop you.bottomdumpin, speedyk, REO6205 and 2 others Thank this. -
I’m working. Just wanted to know if there’re less trucks on the road then I can hit brokers with a high rate. In June week before the DOT blitz seemed like everybody was working. I couldn’t get a good rate from GA (produce season), then a week later my O/O got double the rate for the same lane

It's just another inspection blitz. Don't let the brakes fool you. It's the same inspection. For June, August, September.
DSK333 and Night_driver Thank this. -
I don't care about the scale itself its the 10 minute waste of time getting to it.bottomdumpin, Socal Xpress and Night_driver Thank this.

Anybody get inspected yet?
-
I don't hide from Mr DOT.
I don't go looking for them either. Im pretty sharp myself but when that measuring tape comes out it's verdict time which will hurt my wallet. -
I would be at home but I didn’t get the memo until I booked a thousand miles from home! Lol oh well I’m out now
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
We're working. Maybe the blitz will get some of the junkers off the road.
