There are a bunch of outfits to lease on with out here. But make sure your driver is aware of what it's like out here before you send them out. I'm in West Texas with my own truck. Let me tell ya, it's NOT for me at all. I've been out here over 2 months and and about 6k put into the truck. These lease roads will take its toll. Fuel is about $4 a gallon, and I won't even start on how folks drive. Not trying to scare ya off. It's dangerous out here in the Kermit area. Ask anyone about route 285 from Orla to Pecos. Now to the rates, I'm running boxes and my honest opinion is I believe I can make the same running the road without busting up my truck. From what I hear and have been told, rates are nothing like the last boom. You will have to find a good outfit with several wells if you're gonna run sand boxes. No clue on water trucks other than I'd like to have a personal talk with some of them. Not really sure where they get their cdl's at but WOW! I've tried it for a bit to say that I did and found out that I'd rather be home with my family down near the water. Lol, best of luck to ya
Anyone making any money hauling frac or water around Midland/Odessa?
