You should be able to get more than .50 to team. Of course they’d hire you sight unseen! That’s 1980’s wage. Dont rush in, lots of opportunities
Good luck -
I’m actually finding it pretty difficult to find a wage above that with my lack of experience, unfortunately
Jazz1 Thanks this. -
Negotiate with them citing the fact that women are safer drivers. They want you, they just trying to get you as cheap as possible. Point out "you want that truck rolling and generating income or would you prefer to have it sit driverless" Good Luck
Women drivers safer than men, ATRI finds - Truck Newstruckerbunny Thanks this. -
That is about what is on a 1 year old team truck, ours has 265k, and we have been driving it almost a year.
.60 per mile is very good money, for company drivers. I have looked quite extensively and have not found much better. The 18k per month should be easy to hit. -
I'm now teaming at $.70/mile. $.50/mile is solo pay and cheap at that rate.

1099? Who do you drive for?
-
What company?
-
I drive for a fed-ex contractor. All terminal to terminal.

W-2, not 1099.
