I called them at one time after talking to one of the drivers. I think they are mostly a "Fleece/Never Own" company. The recruiter sounded like a con man when I talked to him on the phone.

Sounded to me like they would run you crazy and didn't care much about logbooks or HOS... That's what I get from the driver and the recruiter.

I walked away without much consdieration of them..

I have found out they don't have company drivers. It is a 100% Owner Operator company that deals primaraly in dry freight and logistics throughout the lower 48. with offices in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. and Fort Wayne, IN.
They are referred by a comapny named Starport Transportation that offers lease trucks w/no credit check and a $1000.00 down payment.
Their D.O.T. record reflects that most of thier Out of Service violations are primaraly driver log related and not equipment.
With the new hours of service regs and their complexity this is understandable to me and an indication these guys will run me the miles I will need to support my new truck.
As I get more familiar with them I will update this information...

For all would be owner operators beware! This company does not do what they say. They have a very high turn over rate which should speak volumes about the company alone. Their csa points are high and they have a poor safety rating. This used to be a great company until chuck the owners son took over. I have so much to say. If anyone is interested in the good n bad of this company let me kno n I will get back to you. This company DOES NOT care about their drivers!

What's the scoop? Well from what I heard recently 5 drivers recently quit this week. And one of them told chuck in person and he said "oh" and that was it. Now back to my previous posting, if the company really did care about their drivers don't u think the president of the company (chuck) would have asked the driver why he is leaving or ask if there is anything he can do to change his mind? That's bs dude. If u ask me mega is getting desperate. For example if ur a team n want to get paid $1 a mile its forced dispatch. Vs .95 for teams for non forced dispatch. So are we owner ops or company drivers? Or like the new rule if u dont have a load under ur belt they will hold ur last paycheck? What the hell is that.? I'm glad I left their petty ### family owned company. Where I'm at now there's no bs. I work , I get paid. Simple as that.
