County just weight restricted my road

    Well, unmuffled jakes are illegal in Colorado and I don't run them in the neighborhood and since we're 500 yards away from the nearest house, I'm not really subjecting anyone to fumes. But there is one side that is pretty hard trying to demonize trucks moreso than the other, so... it is what it is. I only knee-jerk responded to that because I'm sick of being thrown in with the "we're gonna come and flip your state!111!!ONES!" Californians because that isn't how I roll.

    THAT SAID, got a message from the county today that I'm absolutely thrilled about. According to the Public Works director, those signs DON'T BELONG THERE AND THEY'RE BEING REMOVED! So, whoever put those up wasn't supposed to so...interesting as heck, I'd say, but I am OVER THE MOON pleased with the turn of events. I will post if there are further developments beyond this, but hopefully, this is a done deal. Score one for the truck driver, this time.
