15 000 000 of my guys.
9 of hers.
A few docs.
1 lab.

Friday, March 13th.

Out of 9, 4 eggs were fertilized.
Out of those 4, 3 are progressing.

All 3 are still going.

All 3 embryos have been transferred back where they belong and now the long scary wait begins.

Long because gotta wait 13 days for the test to find out if it worked or not.

Scary because it may work or not.
Scary because all 3 could work.

3 years into our marriage, there wasn't any kids yet.
Did some testing and found out there weren't much of my guys and they didn't swim much.

We tried in-vitro in 2003 without success.
$7000 and tons of hopes down the drain.

We then replenished the faith, hope and bank accounts and tried artificial insemination. That's where they monitor the ovulation, and when the time is right they take my guys and give them a "ride" to the right neighborhood.

On the 10th try, it worked and we got Eva-Mae to join us.

Now, we're tried in-vitro again now we wait and see if we were successful in forcing God's and Nature's hands.

 

Got the results of the "making sure" test and it is a go.

God willing, if everything goes well, we will have a nice Christmas present (or 3).
