Check the crank breather filter. Under the valve cover for plugged up, or tube for restriction.
Otherwise engine is tired.Mississippi129 and Killinmiles93 Thank this. -
Any way it could be coming from air compressor or turbo? -
That I have heard. Are you using oil a lot?Killinmiles93 Thanks this.

No it’s not consuming any oil I’m right at my interval to get an oil change (10000) miles and it’s a hair below the full line, which is from the oil leak. -
Can the extra crank case pressure from what ever it is that’s causing it, damage the motor? I’m 300 miles from the nearest freightliner dealer with a dyno so I can do a blow by test and weed out what it isOldironfan Thanks this.

Fix your valve cover leak when you have the time. Detroit's love to smoke through the tube. Your oil consumption is near zero especially with the newer oils. If it ain't broke don't fix it.Mississippi129 and Killinmiles93 Thank this.

The valve cover leak is due to excessive crank case pressure, trying to narrow down why. And I know they like to smoke but it’s blowing oil threw the tube along with the smoke . Believe me I don’t want to have to fix anything that’s not needing of it but I also don’t want every gasket on my motor to leak because of the abnormal pressuresealevel Thanks this.
