i got my Coleman at walmart, good for 20 maybe 40 below zero and it was about $25..??? but that was back a few years ago.Just passing by and Chinatown Thank this.

You want a sleeping bag capable of keeping you warm when there is no other heat source.
Be prepared. JMHO
Not hard to find -40 in Mn, ND, even Wisconsin it’s possible -
So did I. I bought two of the same size and I zipper them together to make a huge bag. Easy to wash and they're still good 6 years later. Cheap Coleman at Walmart.Lepton1 and Hegemeister Thank this.

I’m looking at sleeping bags that are rated for sub zero as I want to be comfortable no matter where the mercury is at.

Plus if an end-of-the-world situation happens you may have to make your own shelter. No APUs will be available in the apocalypse!
