You should go sit in on an auction for the heck of it.

I hear 2000 double-bunk condos can be had in the 10k range. I believe it because they are selling on the lots for 15k.

I know 5k more is a lot when you don't have it though.

i would definetly check out the auction block. alot of people now have either lost thier trucks, or simply need the cash. just make sure you look them over good first. and do your research beforehand. auctions can be bad for lemons, and vise versa. the best pickup i ever owned (or i should say own, about 5 years now) i gave 300 bucks for.

however, I myself like the big cam cummins I have drove both 400 and currently a 300 (wish it was a 400, but ok for a straight truck) I haven't seen any major problems with reliability, and they seem to have a decent enough powerband.

I just found out the truck I mentioned earlier has the 400 injectors upgrade along with the bigger turbo, just the fuel pump was never turned up, so no danger in blowing up the motor, but this thing is supposed to produce 550hp with the current setup. At 4K price tag, 30K on the inframe, this deal is starting to look better and better. Any other deals out there?
