I'm 20 and my friend said he could get a truck under his name/insurance and that I can drive his truck and get paid, but wouldn't it be illegal if a cop stops me because im 20? because i talked to companies they said you need to be 21. Whats the worst that can happen if i drove on my friends truck from state to state and i got stopped by a cop? he said cops usually never stop you and stuff but idk sounds risky...
Thank you
Im 20 years old can i do hotshot trucking under my friends hotshot truck?

As long as you're in your home state, you're fine. If out of state, you may as well not have a CDL.

If I stop you in a CDL qualifying vehicle, then you would be placed out of service. That means you can't drive away. You can walk, take a taxi, hitch-hike, take a plane, etc, etc back home. But your vehicle would stay until a qualified driver came to retrieve it.brian991219 Thanks this. -
